Kitchen cabinets and more

We start by meeting with you in the design center where we can get an introduction to your project. We will show you samples of kitchen layouts, door styles, discuss your wants and needs for your specific project.

From there if you choose to move forward, we would require a $150 deposit. With this Deposit, your designer will schedule an in-home visit to get measurements of your space, and further discuss the overall project design.

After getting the measurements we will schedule an appointment in the store where your designer will have created a 3D design of your new kitchen and go over the design with you and provide you with an estimated budget, which may include sinks, faucets, countertops, hardware, flooring and backsplash. Your budget may or may not include installation at this time. We are happy to work with your contractor that you have selected, or we can arrange for installation with one of our recommended contractors. You will be given a proposal with an estimated budget for the project along with a 3D perspective of the proposed space, everything up to this point is included in your $150 deposit.

To create unique custom designs and get actual pricing for the products, it takes time. Because of this we want to be sure that you are comfortable to move forward with us. If you like initial the design and budgets provided to you, and you wish to get finer details and exact pricing, then we would require an additional nonrefundable $600 deposit. All deposits will be applied to the cost of your new kitchen. We will then schedule additional visits to finalize all of the details and final project costs, make changes, discuss countertops, sinks, hardware, plumbing, flooring and installation costs. In the event that you do not move forward and purchase a kitchen from us your entire $750 deposit is nonrefundable.

Now that we have your final design and budgets, it is time to place your order. Custom cabinets can take up to 16-18 weeks to manufacture and are not returnable. This is an important step to review the design with your contractor, installer, and designer to be sure that you love all of the components and that they fit your space. We recommend a final field measure with the installer at this time. Your designer will discuss with you the warranty, wood property awareness, construction expectations, lead times, and possible issues that may arise with your project. To place the order, we would collect the remaining balance up to 50% of the project material costs. (There is a 48-hour grace period to make any last-minute changes).

Your designer will work with you, your contractor, or our installation contractor, to coordinate the delivery and installation of the cabinets when they are ready. The final 50% balance of materials and additional changes are due prior to delivering the materials to the jobsite. Installation will begin at this point. Remodeling your kitchen can be very rewarding and also very inconvenient during the construction process. We ask that you prepare yourself and your household to be without a functional kitchen for a few weeks. Custom countertops cannot be templated and fabricated until your new cabinets are installed. This may take 2 weeks or more. We will do our best to minimize your disruption. This is a construction project and adjustments to the plan may be needed due to unforeseen issues and this is common and to be expected. When installation is substantially completed, we will collect the balance of any labor and additional materials due, less 5%. Many times, there is a small item waiting to arrive or a final punch list needs to be completed. When all materials and labor have been completed per our contract, the final 5% is due and you are now ready to ENJOY your new space.

Your designer is a trained professional to help you with all of your design questions and projects. Depending on your project, your designer may quote you a price for consultation, selection, and specification of your design elements such as Lighting, Sinks, Faucets, Mirrors, décor, Paint, Flooring, Window treatments, Furniture, and area rugs. This Fee is not transferable to any purchase made and is compensation for time spend.
