Christoff & Sons Completes Work on New Northwest Elementary Building

Christoff and Sons Floor Covering has completed work on the brand new Northwest Early Elementary School as the district wraps up extensive building and remodeling projects. The new 80,000 square foot school will be opening for the first time on September 8 and welcoming students in grades K-2, along with pre-school. Christoff and Sons did all the tile work in all the bathrooms and drinking fountain stations. Colorful and artistic designs of the tile incorporate the Mountie Nation school colors.

“We were very excited to be involved in this great project. Superintendent (Geoff) Bontrager worked closely with us as he appreciates the involvement of local contractors and suppliers.” said Ted Christoff, President of Christoff & Sons Floor Covering. “We are anxious to see the reaction of the students when they see their new school for the first time.”

The project is a result of the passage of two bond issues totaling nearly $40 million approved by voters in 2013. The district will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony on September 2 at 4:30pm.
